Broken Wrist

While recovering from eye surgery, Colton fell out of the swing and broke his wrist. Of course, I had to make sure he was really hurt, so we waited until the next day to see a doctor. That was after I had bent, pushed and squeezed his wrist in all directions. I really should be nominated for Mother of the Year after all that torture. His cast matches his red eyes and neither have slowed him up at all.

Tyler's Birthday

Tyler turned 11 on August 7.

He is SOOOO excited to be a Boy Scout.

Family Reunion

McCall has been a special place for our family to gather for 30 years. Many memories have been created over the years and now our children are experiencing the same thing we did as kids. Thank You Grandpa and Grandma Mann for starting such a great tradition so many years ago.

4th of July

We went to McCall for the long 4th of July weekend. It was fun to watch the fireworks over the lake. We also went on a hike to Pearl Lake.

Andrew rode his bike instead of hiking and loved going over big rocks and logs. He wasn't too happy when his back tire had a blowout going down the last trail.

The fishing is usually good at the lake, but all Tyler could catch was a swedish fish.

Colton started eating the minute we hit the trail.

BOATING

We have enjoyed using Grandpa Mann's new boat this summer. Andrew learned to surf and wakeboard. He has also had fun riding the tube with friends.

MICHAEL

Michael went down to Beaver Utah on June 22 to live with his Uncle Doug and Aunt Amanda for the summer. He is now a big brother to JessiKate, Madilyn, Dallin and Dalton. His main purpose in being there is to learn how to work! He goes to work with Doug and is learning about construction. Besides the work, he is doing lots of fun things with their family. The highlight so far has been a trip to Lake Powell on a house boat.

CANCUN

We started off the summer with a fantastic trip to Cancun. Twenty-two of us arrived in Mexico on Saturday, June 7, and spent the next week seeing and doing lots of great things.

We visited Chichen Itza, went snorkeling, deep sea fishing, swimming and enjoyed lots of sun.

Arrow of Light

Tyler earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts. He also earned all 20 of the Webelos activity pins, Religious Knot, and the World Conservation Award. He is anxiously waiting to turn eleven so he can start on his Boy Scout requirements.
